								Featured presenter: Dr Seri Robinson
Start studying now! Our guest in January of 2026 will be Dr Seri Robinson from Oregon State University, widely considered to be one of the most knowledgeable woodturners and scientists on spalted wood. Seri Robinson fell in love with spalting and woodturning in high school shop class, earned a bachelor’s degree in woodworking art and design, and a master’s and doctorate in wood science. Seri is an associate professor of renewable material anatomy at Oregon State University, where they teach turning, sculpture, and wood identification, and research spalting fungi and their effects on wood. Check out her book from our NWWWT library and start your spalting journey today!
Member Gallery: Members are encouraged to bring their woodturning creations to the monthly meeting where they will be photographed and you will receive a free wood raffle ticket. The photos are posted on our website and often included in the Newsletter.
Tool Raffle: A great way to pick up a new tool at a fraction of the cost if you‘re the lucky raffle winner!
Wood Raffle: There is always a good selection of quality turning wood donated by Club members.
