The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.
Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.
Mount Vernon Christian School Auditorium
This meeting we will have “Basics Of Design” by George Way, Ray Shields, and Roger Dauer
Practical tips to make your turnings appealing including:

- Golden Ratio

Member Gallery: Members are encouraged to bring their woodturning creations to the monthly meeting where they will be photographed and you will receive a free wood raffle ticket. The photos are posted on our website and often included in the Newsletter.
Critique Corner: from 6:00 to 6:30 before club meetings bring your turned pieces and get personal feedback from a small team of qualified peers. How’s the finish? Form? Balance? Embellishment? Get new perspectives on aspects that are done well and what you might improve.
Wood Raffle: There is always a good selection of quality turning wood donated by Club members.
Skagit County Fairgrounds
This event is put together to promote all manner of woodworking disciplines (turning, carving, milling, etc.). There will demonstrations throughout the weekend. In addition, there will be a marketplace, which will allow vendors to sell wood related products and crafted pieces.
We will be demonstrating turning, if you‘re interested in turning at the event please see our volunteer opportunities.
