About this event
The June meeting will feature a presentation by club member Jeff Smith of his unique
set of nesting bowls with a platter that can be used for picnics, parties, etc. He refers to his concept as “Travelin’ Bowls”. Additionally, Dave Pettenski and others members will present “Methods to Attach Wood to Your Lathe: Part Two”. This will cover: Jam Chucks, Collets and Mandrels, Cole Jaws, and many others.
Member Gallery: Members are encouraged to bring their woodturning creations to the monthly meeting where they will be photographed. The photos are posted on our website and often included in the Newsletter. Those who bring a turned item will receive a free wood raffle ticket.
Tool Raffle: A great way to pick up a new tool at a fraction of the cost if you're the lucky raffle winner!
Wood Raffle: There is always a good selection of quality turning wood donated by Club members.
