Learn how to develop fine tool control, body finesse, and proper sharpening will create fine, satisfying results. We will cover roughing, shaping & shearing, making planing cuts for a clean burnish, and scraping through projects that are achievable for everyone. We will also take a close look at different shapes of the skew, grain orientation, and explore why certain grinds can be more ergonomically effective than others. Students will discover why the skew chisel can be one of the most helpful & beneficial tools for any woodturner.
